Feng Shui (Wind and Water, pronounced fong schway) was developed by the Chinese using the art of object placement to create harmony, and prosperity in our lives. Upon entering a home or business and instantly feel at ease, chances are you are experiencing good Feng Shui.  If you are feeling confined or anxious by your surroundings, you most likely are not.

The Bagua (pronounced bah gwah) is traditionally represented in the shape of an octagon.  Each facet of the octagon is assigned at least one of life's aspects, such as career concerns, a natural element, and at least one color.  Feng Shui has been practiced for 4,000 years.  Over time it has evolved and several different schools of Feng Shui have developed.  All are respected and still used today.

Parishioners of this ancient art use purposeful placement of objects using Feng Shui techniques and the Bagua, to create balance and free up energy in our environment and lives.  A Feng Shui cure in you home adjusts the energy or chi.

One of the most simple and important rules is to get rid of the clutter!  Feng Shui consultants teach that only those items that are useful, beautiful, or sentimental should be sharing your space.  Evaluate and take note of your living and working space.  Give away, sell, fix broken items, and recycle.  Start small with only a drawer or closet.  You will be amazed at what an energizing effect this will have.  Get organized and start feeling the results!
